...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT LOWER KEYS IN MONROE COUNTY
THROUGH 100 PM EDT...

At 1236 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Saddlebunch Keys, or near Big Coppitt Key, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Saddlebunch Keys, Bay Point, Shark Key, Upper Sugarloaf Key, Cudjoe
Key, Sugarloaf Key, and Summerland Key.

This includes US 1 between mile markers 11 and 24.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
