Through 600 am, isolated showers and possibly a thunderstorm will track northwestward at 20 mph, through North Key Largo and the surrounding near and offshore waters. The stronger activity will produce wind gusts near 30 mph, blinding downpours, and possibly a few lightning strikes. A few island locations in this area can expect a quarter to three quarters of an inch of rain with the heavier activity. $$
