Through 5 AM, widely scattered showers, and possibly an embedded
thunderstorms, will be found over the near through offshore waters
surrounding the Florida Keys. This activity will move anywhere from
northwest to northeast near 15 knots. The strongest activity may
produce moderate to heavy downpours, gusty and erratic winds 20 to 25
knots, and rare, infrequent lightning strikes. Island communities
may see additional rainfall amounts near a tenth of an inch.
