Through 800 am, a broken band of showers with isolated stronger
thunderstorms will drift to the northwest at near 5 knots across the
western distant Straits of Florida out to 60 nm, as well as the
southeastern Gulf, including in the vicinity of the Dry Tortugas.
Mariners experiencing the strongest storms mainly along a line
extending from W Tower northeastward to T Tower can expect heavy
downpours reducing visibility, wind gusts near 20 knots, and a few
cloud to surface lighting strikes.
