Through 500 pm, a small cluster of showers, with possibly an embedded thunderstorm, will track west southwestward at 15 mph, along the Middle Keys. This activity will produce wind gusts near 25 mph, blinding downpours, and possibly a lightning strike or two. Any island location along the Middle Keys may receive a quarter to one half of an inch of rain. Elsewhere, scattered showers with possibly an embedded thunderstorm will move south to southwest at near 5 knots through mainly the offshore Florida Straits. $$
