Through 300 pm, isolated showers with a possible stray embedded thunderstorm continue to wax and wane as they move northwest at near 5 across the Bay and Gulfside waters, Hawk Channel, and the Florida Straits. Showers and potential thudnerstorms are also expected gulfside of all the island chains. This activity will be capable of moderate to heavy downpours limiting visibility, wind gusts up to 20 knots, and a possible stray lightning strike. Island communities on the northwestern side of the islands may observe up to a quarter of an inch of rainfall. $$ AJP
