Through 6 pm, numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms will
continue to wax and wane moving north to northeastward at near 10
knots across the Florida Keys, nearshore, and offshore waters.
Mariners encountering the stronger of the activity can expect
blinding downpours, wind gusts of 25 to 30 knots, and frequent
lightning strikes. Island communities can expect a few tenths of an
inch in additional rainfall.
