.NOW...
Through 400 am, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will
wax and wane in the distant Straits of Florida south and west of the
Lower and Middle Keys. Movement of this activity will be slow and
nearly stationary, but generally drift to the northeast at near 5
knots. Mariners encountering the strongest activity about 20 to 60
miles south and west of Key West can expect brief heavy downpours
reducing visibility, wind gusts 20 to 25 knots, and a few cloud to
surface lightning strikes.
