Through midnight, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will
continue to wax and wane moving north to northeastward at near 10
knots across the distant Straits and deep Gulf waters. Mariners
encountering the stronger of the activity, currently located east of
T Tower, can expect heavy downpours reducing visibilities, wind
gusts of 20 to 25 knots, and occasional lightning strikes.
