.NOW...
Through 230 am, scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm or
two will continue to drift generally west to northwestward across
areas of the Florida Straits, Hawk Channel, Florida Bay, the
southeastern Gulf, and the Island Chain. The strongest of this
activity will be capable of brief intense downpours limiting
visibility, wind gusts up to 25 knots, and an occasional lightning
strike. Island communities may receive a few tenths of an inch of
rainfall where showers cross.
