Through 7 am, isolated showers and possibly few thunderstorms will
wax and wane as they move northwest at 5 to 10 knots through the
distant Straits of Florida south of the Middle and Upper Keys and the
deep Gulf waters near L Tower. Mariners encountering this activity
can expect bouts of moderate to heavy rainfall reducing visibilities,
wind gusts up to 20 to 25 knots, and possibly a few lightning
strikes.
