Through 1 pm, isolated showers and thunderstorms will continue
mainly across the easternmost coastal waters surrounding the Florida
Keys. This activity will wax and wane as they drift northwest at 5
to 10 knots. Mariners encountering this activity can expect brief
blinding downpours reducing visibility, wind gusts 25 to 30 knots
and brief bouts of lightning strikes. Select island communities in
the Upper Keys may receive a quick quarter an inch of rainfall
accumulations.
