Through 12 am, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue across portions of the coastal waters surrounding the Florida Keys, mostly in the offshore Southeastern Gulf Waters and offshore waters of the Florida Straits. This activity will move to the west around 10 knots but mariners encountering the stronger of the activity can expect heavy downpours reducing visibility, wind gusts near 20 knots, and a few lightning strikes. In addition, island communities across the Upper Keys could expect a few hundredths to a tenth of an inch of rainfall. $$
