Through 800 am, widely scattered showers and potential isolated thunderstorms will continue to develop and move generally northeast to east at near 10 knots across the Island Chain and all coastal waters of the Florida Keys, including the Florida Straits. The strongest activity will be capable of brief moderate to heavy downpours limiting visibility, wind gusts to 25 knots, and an occasional lightning strike.
