...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS EAST OF FLOYDS WALL...

The areas affected include...
Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef to Craig Key 20 to 60 nm out...

At 240 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a
strong thunderstorm, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots.
This thunderstorm was located 16 nm east of Floyd`s Wall Northeast,
moving east at 5 knots.

The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
