Bayside and Gulf side from Craig Key to west end of Seven Mile

Florida Bay including Barnes Sound, Blackwater Sound, and Buttonwood
Sound...

At 229 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a a
strong thunderstorm, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots.
This thunderstorm was located near Tennessee Reef Light, moving east
at 15 knots.

Locations that will be affected include...
Marathon Humps, South Rips, Islamorada Hump, Tennessee Reef Light,
Eagle Wreck, 409 Humps, and Floyd`s Wall Southwest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.

Intense and continuous lightning is occurring with this storm. Stay
low, or go below. Lower VHF antenna, outriggers, fishing rods, and
umbrellas. Avoid open areas on islands and sandbars. Do not shelter
under tall or isolated trees on nearby mangrove islands.
