...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WATERS TO THE NORTH OF THE
TORTUGAS ECOLOGICAL RESERVE NORTH...

The areas affected include...
Gulf of America including Dry Tortugas and Rebecca Shoal Channel...

At 1059 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a a
strong thunderstorm, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots.
This thunderstorm was located 8 nm north of Tortugas Ecological
Reserve North, moving southwest at 5 knots.

Locations that will be affected include...
Tortugas Ecological Reserve North.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
