...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef to west end of Seven Mile Bridge
out 20 nm...
Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef to Craig Key 20 to 60 nm out...

At 538 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a a strong thunderstorm,
capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots. This thunderstorm was
located near Rips, moving northeast at 10 knots.

Locations that will be affected include...
South Rips, Rips, and Islamorada Hump.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
