...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef to Craig Key 20 to 60 nm out...

At 1150 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a
cluster of strong showers and thunderstorms, capable of producing
wind gusts near 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a
line extending from 45 nm east of Floyd`s Wall Southwest to 29 nm
southeast of Floyd`s Wall Northeast, moving northwest at 20 knots.

Strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
