            A thin, near vertical, mature waterspout was
            observed offshore from the public boat ramp
            on the Atlantic side of U.S. 1 at Mile
            Marker 11, and reported via social media. At
            its most mature stage, the condensation
            column, and the nearly transparent sheath,
            appear very close to the surface. However,
            trees/mangroves in the foreground block any
            visual of a spray ring. Considering the
            proximity to the surface, there was likely a
            visible spray ring. The waterspout lasted
            for more than a few minutes, but less than
            ten minutes.
