            A member of the public reported a mature
            waterspout, via social media, to the north
            of Sunset Marina on Stock Island. The parent
            cell was located just north of West Harbor
            Key at the time the waterspout occurred. The
            condensation funnel extended approximately
            one third to one half of the way down from
            the cloud base, and at approximately a 45
            degree angle. There was no spray ring
            visible at the surface, but there are a few
            areas of mangroves around West Harbor Key
            Channel that could have obstructed the view
            at the surface. The cell slowly moved
            westward, but there is no estimate as to how
            long the waterspout lasted.
