Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the Florida Keys
National Weather Service Key West FL
449 AM EDT Thu Jul 23 2026

.Discussion...
Temperatures will remain above normal with highs between
90 and 95 degrees, overnight lows in the lower to mid 80s. Dew
points will be in the mid to upper 70s. Minimum RH values will be
near 65% during the day, recovering to 85% to 90% overnight.
Moisture will be increasing as an easterly wave pushes from the
east. Best chances for wetting rains will be overnight into early
Friday. In addition, in the wake of this easterly wave, winds will
be decreasing leading to gradually worsening dispersion indices.

The National Hurricane Center continues to issue advisories
on Tropical Storm Bertha located across the northwestern Gulf of
America. This system poses no risk to the Florida Keys.
