Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. Wave Detail will include details about the period and direction of origin for the highest energy waves. Long-period swells coming from a different direction than the wind would be included in the Wave Detail. A stray thunderstorm in the distant southeastern Florida Straits is possible overnight, otherwise a general drying trend is expected this week. A low pressure system over the Ohio valley will weaken and lift north mid week, veering breezes from northerly to easterly by Thursday. Breezes will begin to build to moderate over the weekend.
