.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 1030 PM EDT Wed Aug 13 2025

Deep layered ridging is in control of our area with a surface
through lower level ridge reaching across the Florida Peninsula.
Meanwhile, an upper level ridge is centered over Florida. Despite
this, this evenings sounding indicated deep layered moisture ample
with ample CAPE. However, weak forcing and some low level
inhibition has kept shower activity at bay across the forecast
area through the evening. Conditions are seasonable with
temperatures in the mid 80s and dew points in the mid to upper
70s.

No change is expected for the synoptic setup through the overnight
period. Forecast soundings suggest the lower level inhibition
should weaken some, as is often the case. This along with the
usual usual nocturnal increase in local confluence should be
supportive of at least isolated showers and a rare thunderstorm.
Will maintain slight chance PoPs for the overnight period. Expect
seasonable conditions with lows in the lower 80s and dew points
remaining in the mid to upper 70s.
