...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN BREATHITT...WEST
CENTRAL MAGOFFIN AND SOUTHEASTERN WOLFE COUNTIES THROUGH 100 PM
EDT...

At 1230 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Elkatawa, or over Jackson, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Jackson, Simpson, Burkhart, Daisydell, Noctor, Rock Lick, Vancleve,
Moct, Wilhurst, War Creek, Elkatawa, Inverness, Bays, Lunah, Sewell,
Haddix, Taulbee, Guage, Dumont, and Netty.

THIS INCLUDES Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway between mile markers 65
and 66.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
