...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT HARLAN AND SOUTHWESTERN LETCHER
COUNTIES THROUGH 945 PM EDT...

At 916 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lejunior, or 15 miles east of Harlan, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Harlan, Cumberland, Evarts, Lynch, Benham, Bobs Creek, Mary Alice,
Dizney, Chevrolet, Louellen, Lewis Creek, Kingdom Come S.P., Clutts,
Shields, Maggard, Black Mountain, Clover, Smith, Bailey Creek, and
Liggett.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
