...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN BELL AND EAST
CENTRAL KNOX COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM EDT...

At 246 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Blanche, or near Pineville, moving south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Pineville, East Pineville, Wallsend, Varilla, Barnyard, Ponza, Black
Snake, Field, Erose, Straight Creek, Blanche, Mills, Cary, Rella,
Fourmile, Clear Creek Springs, Wasioto, Blackmont, Balkan, and
Dewitt.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 U.S. Highway 25 East in Bell County between mile markers 9 and 18.
 U.S. Highway 25 East in Knox County between mile markers 1 and 2.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
