At 455 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Ary, or 7 miles north of Hazard, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Hazard, Hindman, Estill, Pippa Passes, Wayland, Leburn, Handshoe, Emmalena, Glo, Nealy, Bearville, Ivis, Ivan, Bulan, Bolyn, Demo, Tina, Carrie, Talcum, and Mallie.
