...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN WAYNE COUNTY
THROUGH 145 PM EDT...

At 111 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Cabell, or 12 miles west of Monticello, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, with
         hourly rain rates of 1-2 inches per hour.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Ponding of water in flood prone and low lying areas is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Monticello, Susie, Cabell, Zula, Hidalgo, Parnell, Cooper,
Steubenville, and Alpha.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
