At 253 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Carpenter, or 10 miles south of Barbourville, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Williamsburg, Barbourville, Julip, Artemus, Swan Lake, Clate, Birdseye, Verne, Goldbug, Gausdale, King, Louden, Polly Camp, Clear Creek Springs, Nevisdale, Dixie, Avis, Siler, Frakes, and Permon.
