...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN LESLIE...
NORTHEASTERN PERRY AND SOUTH CENTRAL BREATHITT COUNTIES THROUGH 330
PM EDT...

At 249 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lamont, or 9 miles northwest of Hazard, moving south at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hazard, Avawam, Dryhill, Lamont, Dice, Toulouse, Kaliopi, Krypton,
Ned, Diablock, Barwick, Confluence, Mosley Bend, Chavies,
Thousandsticks, Bulan, and Jeff.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 Hal Rogers Parkway between mile markers 45 and 59.
 Kentucky Highway 80 in Perry County between mile markers 9 and 10.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
