...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT POWELL...MONTGOMERY AND
NORTHWESTERN ESTILL COUNTIES THROUGH 930 PM EDT...

At 842 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cressy, or 10 miles northwest of Irvine, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Sterling, Stanton, Jeffersonville, Camargo, Clay City, Levee,
Bowen, Kimbrell, Walkers Crossing, Coons Station, Stepstone, Bean,
Waltersville, Gatewoods Station, Wiseman Crossing Station, Virden,
Prewitt, Vaughns Mill, Hardwick, and Rosslyn.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
