This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

There is a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. A few
storms may be strong to severe during this time, with damaging winds
and hail up to the size of quarters the primary concerns, though a
brief spin-up tornado cannot be ruled out, mainly for locations along
and west of Interstate 75.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

There is a possibility of light snow accumulations late Sunday night
into Monday for portions of eastern Kentucky, mainly on grassy and
elevated surfaces. Locations above 2000 feet near the Virginia
border would be the most likely area to experience any travel
impacts during the Monday morning or Monday evening commutes.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to report any instances of wind damage or
hail that may occur later today.
