This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected, with the greatest
coverage during the afternoon and early evening hours. Some of the
storms could produce torrential downpours and isolated instances of
high water.

Heat indices are forecast to reach the upper 90s to lower 100s in
most locations this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Thunderstorms are possible at times, with the highest probability
during afternoon and early evening hours.

Peak afternoon heat indices are forecast above 100 for much of the
area, mainly through Wednesday. The hottest locations are expecting
heat indices to top 105.
