.DISCUSSION...Dry and warm surface high pressure will remain in
control of the weather into Thursday morning as it gradually pulls
away to the east. However, a slow-moving front will approach the
area by Thursday afternoon and settle into the area this weekend,
resulting in high chances for showers and thunderstorms. The
primary concern with any of the more intense thunderstorms will be
strong to damaging wind gusts and torrential downpours, especially
on Friday afternoon into Friday night.
