Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
615 AM EDT Thu Jul 30 2026

.DISCUSSION...Look for some valley fog around again this morning,
locally dense in some areas. Otherwise, drier and slightly cooler
air will hold in place through Friday thanks to high pressure moving
through to end the work week. Humid and more muggy conditions return
for the upcoming weekend along with showers and thunderstorms. Heavy
rain will also be a threat for Saturday and Saturday night.
