Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
610 AM EDT Thu Jun 5 2025

.DISCUSSION...Surface high pressure and upper level ridging have
started to pull away from the area this morning taking the dry and
warm weather along with it. This means a return to a wetter pattern
of mainly diurnal showers and thunderstorms as a slow moving front
approaches the area later today - remaining nearby into the weekend.
