Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
1213 AM EDT Sun Jun 22 2025

.DISCUSSION...Heat and humidity will build through mid-week,
courtesy of a strong upper level high. Temperatures are expected
to soar into the 90s each afternoon this week but, due to the
humidity, will feel close to or even above 100 degrees at times.
Though mainly dry weather is expected through Thursday morning, a
very isolated popup shower or thunderstorm cannot be entirely
ruled out in the interim. Better shower and thunderstorm chances
return to the forecast from Thursday afternoon onward as the
upper level high slowly retreats.
