Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
353 AM EDT Tue Jul 29 2025

.DISCUSSION...Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are
expected each afternoon through the remainder of this week as a
cold front approaches Thursday and slowly crosses the area through
Friday. Areas of valley fog will develop each night.
The heat and humidity will worsen each day through Wednesday ahead
of the cold front, but significant relief arrives late week into
next week with cooler and more stable conditions.
