Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
555 AM EDT Sat Aug 2 2025

.DISCUSSION...In the wake of a cold front that passed through the
area on Friday, a cooler air mass is in place over eastern Kentucky.
This has also brought less humid conditions and this fresh air mass
will last for the next several days. However, daily shower and
thunderstorm chances will persist well into the new week - mainly in
the afternoon and evening hours.
