Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
1218 AM EDT Wed Jun 4 2025

.DISCUSSION...Surface high pressure and upper level ridging will
remain in control of the weather into Thursday morning as they
gradually depart. This will mean warm temperatures and dry conditions
into Thursday morning. However, a slow moving front will approach
the area Thursday and gradually move across the area into the
weekend, resulting in increased chances for showers and
thunderstorms.
