.DISCUSSION...A boundary will remain near the border of KY with TN
and VA through this evening as a wave of low pressure moves along it
and a disturbance passes. This will result in isolated to scattered
showers and thunderstorms for locations generally south of the
Mountain Parkway, mainly this afternoon and evening. Another cold
front will approach the area along with another disturbance and this
will result in another round of isolated to scattered showers and
thunderstorms for Saturday afternoon and evening. A noticeably cooler
and less humid early fall-like pattern follows to begin the last full
week of August.
