* WHAT...Elevated lake levels at Buckhorn Lake will cause flooding
along the Middle Fork Kentucky River and local tributaries
upstream of the Lake.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Kentucky, including the following
county, Leslie.
* WHEN...Until 1000 AM EST Monday Feb 24.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of roads, creeks, and streams, immediately
upstream of Buckhorn Lake are occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 958 AM EST, Flooding is occurring upstream of Buckhorn
Lake.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Confluence, Dryhill, Toulouse and Mosley Bend.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
