...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
  occurring.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Kentucky, including the following
  county, Letcher.

* WHEN...Until 1145 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 839 PM EDT, the public reported heavy rain leading to
    ongoing flooding in the Smith Creek near Eolia. Flooding is
    ongoing. Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Oven Fork, Eolia, Day, Maggard, Partridge and Lewis Creek.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
