Advisory for the following rivers in Kentucky...

  South Fork Kentucky River at Booneville affecting Owsley County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternative route.

The next statement will be issued Friday morning at 1000 AM EDT.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING TO EARLY SATURDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Elevated river levels caused by excessive rainfall are
  expected.

* WHERE...South Fork Kentucky River at Booneville.

* WHEN...From this evening to early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Low lying areas flood. The bridge at Upper
  Wolf Creek Road, Shepherds Lane, and the east end of Applegate
  Road at Buck Creek are impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:50 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 26.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is nearing its crest, but will continue
    to run high through early Friday.
  - Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
