The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Camden County in southeastern Georgia...
  Southern Glynn County in southeastern Georgia...

* Until 700 PM EST.

* At 637 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Waverly, or 7
  miles northeast of Woodbine, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Brunswick, St. Simons Island, St Simons Island Village, Jekyll
  Island, Sea Island, and Dover Bluff.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Jacksonville.
