Waters from Altamaha Sound GA to Fernandina Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM... * Until 630 AM EDT. * At 525 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 7 nm south of Tug Rio Caroni, or 19 nm southeast of Altamaha Sound, moving northeast at 5 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
