* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Altamaha Sound to Fernandina Beach FL out 20
  NM...
  Coastal waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL out 20
  NM...
  Waters from Altamaha Sound GA to Fernandina Beach FL from 20 to 60
  NM...
  Waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL from 20 to 60
  NM...

* Until 300 PM EDT.

* At 159 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  waterspouts were located along a line extending from 11 nm
  northwest of Amelia City to 6 nm west of Vilano Beach, moving
  northeast at 35 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Casablanca Reef, Buoy Hlha, Dorothy Louise Barge, High Point,
  Nassau Sound Approach Buoy 6a, Buoy F, Vilano Beach, St Simons
  Island Village, Palm Valley, St. Simons Island, Talbot Island,
  Saint Andrews Sound, Saint Johns Lighted Buoy, Dungeness, St Simons
  Sound Buoy 9, Atlantic Beach, Mayport, Anna Reef, Amelia City, and
  Jekyll Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected. If your vessel is caught offshore, immediately secure for
heavy weather. Ensure all crew members are wearing USCG approved Type
I life jackets and nonessential crew are below decks. Deploy jack
lines and harnesses if available. Check life saving equipment,
including batteries on handheld radios, for readiness.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately. If your vessel is caught offshore, immediately secure
