* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Altamaha Sound to Fernandina Beach FL out 20
  NM...
  Coastal waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL out 20
  NM...
  Waters from Altamaha Sound GA to Fernandina Beach FL from 20 to 60
  NM...
  Waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL from 20 to 60
  NM...

* Until 215 PM EDT.

* At 1240 PM EDT, showers capable of producing waterspouts were
  located along a line extending from 13 nm south of Tug Rio Caroni
  to 14 nm northeast of Guana River State Park, moving northwest at
  10 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can create locally hazardous seas. Small
           craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

  Buoy Hlha, Atlantic Beach, High Point, Mayport, Nassau Sound
  Approach Buoy 6a, Buoy F, Amelia City, Jekyll Island, Buoy Cdh, St
  Simons Island Village, Palm Valley, St. Simons Island, Jacksonville
  Beach, Talbot Island, Saint Andrews Sound, Buoy Kby, Saint Johns
  Lighted Buoy, Dungeness, St Simons Sound Buoy 9, and Saint Marys
  Entrance Buoy 16.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous
seas. Seek safe harbor immediately. If your vessel is caught
offshore, immediately secure for heavy weather. Ensure all crew
members are wearing USCG approved Type I life jackets and
nonessential crew are below decks. Deploy jack lines and harnesses if
available. Check life saving equipment, including batteries on
handheld radios, for readiness.
