...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Waters from Altamaha Sound GA to Fernandina Beach FL from 20 to 60
  NM...

At 833 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 14 nm
southwest of R2 Tower to 17 nm south of Tug Rio Caroni, moving east
at 15 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.

Waterspouts are possible with this activity. If a waterspout occurs,
move your boat away from it. Waterspouts can develop rapidly and
produce winds and seas that are dangerous for vessels and everyone
onboard.
