...A THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WATERS...

Coastal waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL out 20
NM...
At 1149 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm, capable of
producing winds to around 30 knots and a waterspout. This
thunderstorm was located 8 nm east of Jacksonville Beach, or 23 nm
north of Saint Augustine. The thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
Waterspouts are possible with this activity. If a waterspout occurs,
move your boat away from it. Waterspouts can develop rapidly and
produce winds and seas that are dangerous for vessels and everyone
onboard.
